A 27-year veteran with the Canadian PGA, Pierre has been honored in the past several years as Teacher Emeritus by the Quebec PGA, as "2003 Teacher of the Year", and as "2002 Teacher of the Year Finalist". In 2005, he received his highest distinction to date when he was nominated as a "Top Regional Teacher" by Golf Magazine and chosen as a Top 25 Teachers in Canada. Most recently, he was nominated for the "2007-2008 Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers in America".
